BTC has commissioned nine advanced Type I ambulances for deployment in AlUla, in support of the Royal Commission’s ongoing initiatives, with operations managed by the Ministry of Health.
This delivery represents a strategic effort to strengthen emergency medical services in AlUla—an area experiencing growing tourism, cultural activity, and heritage-driven development. The Type I ambulances, built on robust truck chassis, are ideally suited for the region’s diverse terrain and are equipped to handle a wide range of pre-hospital emergency scenarios.
Each vehicle comes fully outfitted with life-saving equipment and medical-grade interiors that meet Ministry of Health standards, ensuring seamless integration into national emergency response systems. The ambulances will be operated by MOH teams, supporting both residents and visitors throughout the region.
